tasting note
The 2009 Barbour Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the fine craftsmanship of its artisans. Richly garnet colored, the 2009 vintage offers aromas of raspberries, juicy blackberries and dusty cocoa. On the palate, it broadens to include cassis, dark plums, light caramel, and brown earth and graphite. It has a beautiful silky texture and a lovely sweetness that finishes with soft, gentle tannins. the 2009 vintage will benefit from decanting in its early years and will cellar well for 10-15 years.
